Helicopter Mechanic / Service Technician
As a CH-47 Helicopter Repairer, you'll maintain and repair the CH-47 helicopters (also known as the Chinook).
As the Army's most utilized helicopter, with hundreds of Army missions depending on them, you'll have to ensure that they are safe and ready to fly.
#ServeWithUs Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls.
Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
Inspect and repair aircraft wings, fuselages and tail assemblies.
Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
Assist in diagnosing/troubleshooting.
PAID TRAINING 10 weeks of Basic Training.
16 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Between 17-34 years old.
No felonies.

Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Permanent resident or US citizen.
Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
