This individual will be responsible for administering and managing our overall IT environment while also providing guidance and leadership to a team of IT professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, security, and software development, along with excellent supervisory and project management skills.
The IT Senior System Administrator will work closely with other departments to ensure that our technological solutions are aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
IT Senior System Administrator Key
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring the team's workload is managed effectively.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
IT Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and administer the IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, cloud-based systems, laptops, desktops, phone systems, software, and hardware.
Ensure network components and systems work together seamlessly to meet business needs.
Coordinate and implement network software and hardware upgrades to enhance system performance.
Project Management:
Serve as the project lead for business system improvements and support new and existing IT initiatives.
Independently study, develop, and standardize complex technical procedures to improve efficiencies.
Analyze and identify trends in issue reporting, devise preventative solutions, and suggest process improvements.
Customer Service and Support:
Promote excellent customer service and effective response times to meet internal customer needs.
Enforce quality of service guidelines for dealing with internal customers, completing services, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Technical Expertise:
Troubleshoot and deploy Windows 2012, 2016, & 2019 Servers.
Experience with Office 365/Exchange (administration and migrations).
Configuration, management, and troubleshooting skills for routers, switches, and firewalls.
Cloud experience via Azure/Intune/MFA.

Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals IT Senior System Administrator Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related and applicable fields preferred.
