50 per hour What makes you a good for this position? The ideal candidate will prepare Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, depot maintenance work requirements, and other technical publications in accordance with applicable military standard requirements.
Basic
Qualifications:
o Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development experienceo Working knowledge and experience developing to MIL-STD-40051-1 military standard requirementso Expert knowledge and proficiency with Arbortexto Expert knowledge and proficiency with eXtensible Markup Language (XML)o Expert knowledge and proficiency with Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML)o Expert knowledge and proficiency with HTML style sheetso Experience and proficiency as a technical writero Proficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
o Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions.
o Ability to write technical content for maintenance technical manuals including installation, test, repair, and troubleshooting procedures.
o Ability to acquire and verify subject matter content by interviewing workers engaged in developing products, observing production methods, referring to Engineering drawings, notes, manuals, and similar publications.
o Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillso Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes.
o Must be able to work well in a team environment and work well with various levels of management.
o Strong attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision.
o Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
o Candidate must be willing to work overtime as required and support business travel as required.

oExperience with the development of proposal Basis of Estimates (BOEs) within the discipline of Technical PublicationsoPrevious military experience or working in DoD industry.

$56.
