Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering scientific and manufacturing requirementsApplies the appropriate standards processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and produces such as laboratory simulations systems, airplane flight control, and display systems avionics mechanical and electrical systems, weapons, armament, commercial, and military aircraft systems-mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this natureInterfaces with customers suppliers application users and other technical and support personnelThe integrated air and missile defense program area is looking for an embedded software engineer to work on the flight software program for the guidance electronics portion of the missileThe candidate should be proficient in Embedded programming in C/C++, Real Time operating environments and embedded I/O integrationThe candidate must be comfortable working within a collaborative and agile environmentRequired Qualifications:
o Must have an active DOD secret security clearanceo Experience with embedded software developmento Experience with real-time operating environmentso Strong experience with C/C+
with a focus on modern C+
features; C++11 experience preferredo Experience working with Linux distributions; CentOS/RHEL 7 or higher experience is preferredo Must have a growth mindset with a strong ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced collaborative environmento Willing to work in a closed area on-site full-time
