is seeking an Embedded S/W Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering scientific and manufacturing requirementsApplies the appropriate standards processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products, such as:
laboratory simulations systems, airplane flight control, and display systems avionics mechanical and electrical systems, weapons, armament, commercial, and military aircraft systems-mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this natureInterfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnelThe integrated air and missile defense program area is looking for an embedded software engineer to work on the flight software program for the guidance electronics portion of the missileThe candidate should be proficient in Embedded programming in C/C , Real-Time operating environments, and embedded I/O integrationThe candidate must be comfortable working within a collaborative and agile environment
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Must have an active DOD secret security clearanceExperience with embedded software developmentExperience with real-time operating environmentsStrong experience with C/C with a focus on modern C features; C 11 experience preferredExperience working with Linux distributions; CentOS/RHEL 7 or higher experience is preferredMust have a growth mindset with a strong ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced collaborative environmentWilling to work in a closed area on-site full-time
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with embedding I/O integrationExperience working with Agile methodologies, Git, GitLab CI, and automated testingExperience with Unit testingExperience with software design, architecture, and documentation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
