The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with residents, completing administrative tasks, processing maintenance requests and arranging meetings with property managers.
Responsibilities:
Deal with residents by performing duties such as collecting rent, making repairs, and checking in on all apartments.
Handle tenant issues and complaints.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance, painting, and other building projects.
Ensure that the apartment is meeting state and federal housing codes.
Deal with refusals to pay rent.
Have a good eye for interior decoration.
Be able to communicate clearly with the team and our residents Have a variety of professional skills related to the maintenance of an apartment building.
Manage work orders and coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting conditions and coordinating cleaning and repairs to prepare properties for new tenants.
Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
Handle leasing inquiries, show properties, and screen potential tenants.
Daily Tasks:
Completing lease paperwork.
Collecting rent payments.
Showing apartments to prospective tenants.
Ensuring that the facilities meet state safety codes.

Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role, with a solid understanding of property management for single-family and multifamily properties.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, team members, and contractors.
Knowledge of relevant real estate laws, including fair housing regulations, evictions, and lease negotiations.
Proficiency in property management software AppFolio a bonus Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Being bilingual is highly recommended but not required.
