Subcontract Administrator
Job Description :
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontract Administrator for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to perform subcontract management duties in support of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Program. Duties include:
Prepares RFP's
Analyzes and evaluates proposals
Negotiates subcontract provisions
Selects or recommends subcontractors
Writes awards
Administers resulting subcontracts
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment
Working knowledge of Acquisition Procedures
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally
Desired skills
Experience working in a collaborative / teaming environment
Working knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P)
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must possess strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize activities
Must be able to identify problems, analyze data, and recommend solutions
Self-starter with the ability to make things happen
A basic understanding of procurement principles and Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
Procurement experience
Able to understand technical requirements
SAP proficient
Metric preparation skills
Presentation skills
