Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Staff

Job Description :
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Staff for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to plan, schedule and coordinate internal and external audit schedules / plans. Responsibilities include:
Perform assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, procedures and industry standards (i.e. ISO9001 / AS9100 / ISO14001 / OHSAS18001).
Initiation, approval and verification of corrective action.
Performing independent data analysis and metric reviews.
Utilization of Lean and Six Sigma techniques to facilitate processes.
Support the customer Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and drive Risk Assessment actions to closure.
Work with Site Leads on actions.
Monitor and track Government corrective actions and escapes for the SW sites.
Drive actions to closure.
Schedule and conduct audits in the production work centers, receiving inspection, etc. for compliance to internal requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of Quality Engineering responsibilities, preferably experience at the floor level in the Quality or Production Operations disciplines.
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of Quality Engineering Processes, and related Performance Metrics.
Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying in complexity.
Demonstrated auditing ability with working knowledge of processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, procedures and industry standards (i.e. ISO9001 / AS9100/ ISO14001/ OHSAS18001).
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Willingness and ability to drive identification of root causes and corrective actions and perform verifications required for any identified non-conformances documented by self or co-workers.
Good communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation, technical writing).
The skill and ability to work with personnel across all functions/areas, interfacing with programs, line of business, functional organizations and customers to support their needs.
Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The position requires moderate travel in support of audits and assessments at offsite locations.
Desired skills
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and application experience.
Experience working effectively in a matrix management environment.
Machine shop or electronics manufacturing inspection experience.
GD&T / GDAT technical experience.
Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
