Process Engineer

Overview
The position is responsible for initiating and driving continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing Tools) projects and waste elimination efforts and activities within the organization. Additionally, this position will evaluate existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems through VSM
Lead training to implement Lean Culture for improvement. (i.e. 5S's, Standard Work, TPM, SMED)
Prepare technical reports, case study documentation, and training manuals.
Focus on continuous improvement to eliminate short and long-term problems.
Develop innovative solutions using Lean Principals (i.e. Six Sigma, Kaizen process) to accomplish the improvement goals for the organization.
Initiate and drive process improvement projects, improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
Manage and maintain the VSM on any change.
Ensure that a project plan is developed and agreed for each defined project.
Work with team leaders to plan and lead improvement projects.
Involve plant management in improvement projects in an effort to eliminate barriers to team success.
Provide guidance to sustain improvement changes.
Communicate lessons learned and best practices from improvement projects.
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers using Lean Manufacturing tools.
Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
Ensure projects are completed on time.
Ensure financial budgets are followed.
Research and purchase new manufacturing technology.
Implement, drive and maintain Daily Management in the facility.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor in Engineering Sciences. Master degree in Industrial Engineering desired.Knowledge:
Lean Manufacturing, Process Set up, Process Optimization, Six Sigma, AutoCad.
Experience:
Process Engineer with minimum of 3 years experience, 5 years preferred.Competencies (Abilities):

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
